ZB44 = G512, located at the top of the giant branch of M4, is observed photoelectrically with a 60-cm telescope to confirm the existence of fast light variations, especially at wavelengths around 6250 A. The abnormal variables ZB38 = G30 and ZB39 = 3327 are also observed photoelectrically. Results confirm that a group of abnormal variable stars, which may all be field stars, exists in the direction of M4.
