The paper `The photometric properties of `box/peanut' galactic bulges'
was published in Mon. Not. R. Astron. Soc. 261,718-752(1993). The object
called NGC 3627 in that paper is wrongly identified - it should be NGC
3623. The discussion and conclusions are not affected by this change.
