CCD images of the Aql X-1 field taken with the Haute-Provence 1.2-m telescope by D.Gravallon on 2009 November 12.74 UT show the object to be at V = 17.9. Publicly available 2-10 keV RXTE ASM data yield a counting rate at or below 4 c/s. A similar weak level of activity was seen during the previous outbursts of June 2008 and March 2009 (see ATEL #1553 and #1970).
