The possible phenomena that might contribute to producing the mean and median inclination variations for the numbered minor planets with the increase of the numbered planet sample size are investigated. The role of the real features of the minor planet system and the selectional effects which are connected with the minor planet discoveries and with their inclusion in the list of numbered objects are analyzed in order to determine the separate contributions of these factors. The results provide a basis for predicting the future behavior of the variations of the central tendencies of inclination. In addition, two complementary approaches for predicting the future behavior of these variations are presented and examined.
