The author looks for dynamic solutions of the seven dimensional supergravity theory that lead to the compactification of the three extra dimensions, leaving a four-dimensional space-time. It is shown that for a certain configuration of the fields present in this theory, one could find solutions with the desired features. The time evolution of small perturbations of the scalar fields is analysed.
