We studied the distribution of M 31 novae with the different rate of decline - very fast, fast, moderately fast, and slow. There are novae of all types in the bulge of M 31. A tendency of larger distances from the center for faster novae, in comparison to the distances for slower novae, has no statistical significance. Thus, the existence of two populations, novae of the bulge and novae of the disk, with different rates of decline, is not confirmed.
