Presented are the photocenter positions of the Pluto/Charon system during the 1994 opposition observed with the CCD meridian circle at Mitaka, Tokyo. The coordinates of the Pluto system were derived, based on the PPM catalog and referred to the J2000 equinox and equator. From the comparison between the observed positions and the JPL ephemeris positions, it is confirmed that the large systematic bias of about 2" to 2".5 known to exist in DE200 right ascension is reduced considerably in the experimental ephemeris DE245.
