The Orion Kleinmann-Low Nebula was observed in the four hyperfine transitions of OH in the 2II3/2, J=3/2 state. The circularly polarized radiation at 1612 MHz exhibits a Zeeman pattern centered at an LSR velocity of 8.02 km s-1. The frequency separation of the four observed lines, i.e., the σ±1 and a 2 lines, is in excellent agreement with the Zeeman splitting produced by a 4 milligauss field. The amplitude ratio of the four lines is within a factor of 2 of that predicted for a partially saturated maser. The σ±3 circularly polarized Zeeman components are suppressed by the σ±1 components.
