A general property is derived for the stability of the one zone model for the case of linear, nonadiabatic radial oscillations. A discussion is given of the problem posed by nonlinear adiabatic radial oscillations of the homogeneous model with a slow rotational velocity, where the configuration is spherically symmtric and each mass cell conserves its angular momentum during the oscillations.
