FOS UV spectroscopy will be used to study the Be star (SS 2883; CD-63D2495) binary companion to the pulsar PSR1259-63. The pulsar is eclipsed near periastron, due to the wind of the Be star, and or a circumstellar disk. UV spectra near periastron will be used to probe the Be star wind and disk material, and perhaps their interaction with the pulsar.
