We determine SL(n)-stable, SL(2)-regular subvarieties of the variety of
complete quadrics. We extend the results of Aky{\i}ld{\i}z and Carrell on
Kostant-Macdonald identity by computing the Poincar{\'e} polynomials of these
regular subvarieties.
