Cosmic Rays: Origin, Cosmic Rays: Supernovae

Scientific paper

Recent experimental results on measurements of high energy gamma-rays
from the small Magellanic Cloud and of cosmogenic isotopes abundances in
natural archives are summarized. It is concluded that cosmic rays
observed in the local region of our Galaxy are generated in galactic
supernova explosions.
