We have analyzed the structure of the ridge in the Taurus Molecular Cloud 1 from 45 GHz emission of the CCS molecule. The CCS molecule has been demonstrated to be a useful tracer of small scale structure in dense cores in dark clouds. We used NASA's Deep Space Network 34-m antenna at Goldstone, California to make high velocity resolution ( ~ 8 m/s) observations of the 4_3 ->3_2 transition. This is a Nyquist sampled map at 25arcsec sampling. We use a number of structure analysis programs to decompose the map into its components. We present the statistics of these features in order to understand the dynamical processes in this region. This research was performed at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology, under contract with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
