A Monte Carlo simulation is used to determine the arrival time (delay time) distribution of shower particles at large distance (greater than 100 m) from the air shower core. The characteristics of the distribution are expressed by three parameters and an approximate formula has been derived. Distribution is found to be dependent on the distance from the core, but almost independent of the age, zenith angle, primary energy, and primary compositions. Due to statistical fluctuation it is deemed important to take into account the experimental conditions in comparison with the experimental data results.
