Observations of Nova Cygni 1975 were made in a wavelength band approximating the V band on seven nights in 1981 from July 25 to August 4 and twelve nights in the same year from September 21 to October 5. Throughout this period the nova ranged betwen magnitudes of 15.8 and 17.4, with a mean of roughly 16.5 m. Mean light curves constructed for July-August and September-October with a period of 0.279 226 6 differ systematically in the depth of successive minima in each curve, while matching maxima are similarly shaped.
