A quantitative method is proposed to find out the type of the structure (cellular structure or isolated clusters) describing the spatial distribution of galaxies. The method is based on the ideas of the percolation theory. First results of application of the proposed method to four different types of catalogues are given. One of these catalogues is observational and three others are models.
