The Solar System Ambassadors Program is a public outreach program run by JPL for NASA. Motivated volunteers from across the nation organize and conduct public events that communicate exciting discoveries and plans for exploration in Solar System research and technology through non-traditional forums. Ambassadors have the chance to participate in 'training sessions' with mission specialists, and receive presentation material. The program provides also an excellent chance to involve the public in physics and astronomy research and events at Universities. The presentation will focus on the goals of the Solar System Ambassador program, and the current NASA missions that are involved in- and support the program.
