We present animations of computer simulations of novae shell development. We assume that the shell can be modeled as a large number of massless points that are instantaneously ejected from the surface of the white dwarf (WD) and move ballistically thereafter. Parameters allowed to vary were binary period, ejection velocity and rotation period of the WD. The explosions can be viewed parallel and perpendicular to the orbital plane. At high ejecting velocities a nearly spherical shell is produced. At ejection speeds just above the WD's escape velocity, very complicated and ever changing geometries result and the material remains close to the system's barycenter. Each particle is assigned a generic line profile and the integrated shell line profile is obtained by simple addition (which assumes that the shell is optically thin). The ultimate goal of this project is to compare the simulated profiles to those we observe in an attempt to deduce geometrical and dynamical properties of the shell.
