Radio-astronomical data on the solar-wind velocity are analyzed, and histograms of velocity distributions for the epoch of the solar-activity maximum are obtained. The solar-latitude dependence of the mean velocity, the relative velocity scatter, and the asymmetry of the distribution is investigated; parameters of the velocity distribution in various solar- cycle phases are compared; and the north-south asymmetry of the solar wind is considered. The general conclusion is that there are significant variations in the solar wind at the epoch of the maximum, and that these variations are manifested in the flow pattern as a whole.
