The loop systems are studied from eclipse photographs of the corona in the light of the green line. The positions of the loops are compared with the results of observations of the background magnetic fields made at the Kitt Peak and Stanford observatories and with the data of synoptic H-alpha maps. On the photographs of two eclipses studied, the loop systems distinguished are located above the polarity boundaries of background fields.
