A mechanism for the formation of the Taurid meteor swarm by the ejection of material from the nucleus of comet Encke-Baklund is developed using the results of a numerical modeling of the process of isotropic ejection of meteoric material from the nucleus of the comet. In addition, the evolution of the orbits of the meteoric particles and of the comet progenitors are analyzed. In considering this evolution, the influence of the maximum number of effects, both gravitational and nongravitational, are taken into account. It is shown that the swarm may have been formed as a result of 'normal' comet activity and that it is not necessary to adopt the hypothesis that the swarm originated when the comet nucleus collided with asteroids.
