A search has been made for possible variations in the emission lines in the spectrum of the nucleus of the galaxy NGC 1275 on the time scale of a day. The search was made using 126 spectrograms obtained with the 6-m telescope during the four nights January 12-15, 1977. These data revealed variations in the equivalent widths and fluxes of the emission lines. The greatest changes were found in the flux of the H-beta line, and they reached 50 percent.
