The authors present two lines of evidence indicating that the interaction of late-type cluster galaxies with their environment results in enhanced star formation. First, detailed radio and optical data on three irregular galaxies in A1367 show direct signs of the interaction and increased star formation. Second, a statistical radio/optical survey of cluster and "isolated" spirals in the Coma supercluster shows a higher star formation rate, on the average, in the clusters.
