Observations of CO and CO-13 emissions (J = 1-0) toward 35 compact continuum sources detected at low galactic latitudes in H I are presented. The observations were carried out using the Bordeaux 2.5 m millimeter-wave telescope in the period January-March 1983. The half-power beam width of the telescope was about 4.2-4.4 minutes of arc at 2.6-2.7 mm, and the main beam efficiency was 0.8. The sensitivity of the observations was uniform for CO and CO-13 respectively. At least one CO(CO-13) feature was observed in 70 percent of the selected directions while less than 20 percent of the total number of H I features had a carbon monoxide counterpart. The CO features were matched to H I features with a high degree of confidence because 70 percent of the associated features had H I - CO velocity of less than 1.6 km/s. The distribution of CO clouds was concentrated toward the galactic plane. The column density ratio of H I to H2 is estimated to be approximately 0.02-0.2. The CO and CO-13 spectra observed towards 1849 + 005p, 1950 + 253, and G52.75 + 0.3 are reproduced in graphic form.
