For the Salyut HEXE experiment, a computation system was built in cooperation with the experimental computer of the German X-ray satellite ROSAT. The principles and the construction of the measuring instruments used are described. A short description of the X-ray observatory for the Salyut Space Station is given. In order to favor a better understanding of the data transmission of the phoswich detector, data transmission of the X-ray observatory using the detectors developed by West European institutes is presented. The telemetry of the HEXE experiment is explained. The described software was developed and tested for the HEXE experiment. An accurate representation of utilized processors is given.
