The periods of the components of the close pair V4 in the globular cluster M 3, which are separated by 0.5", were determined. The star was resolved by the Hubble Space Telescope into two RR Lyr variables. These periods are P1 = 0.585029 deg and P2 = 0.593069 deg. The photometric amplitudes of the components are, respectively, 1.5" and 0.8" in B. The light curve with the larger amplitude refers to the northern component. An analysis of the O-C diagram made it possible to refine the period of the component with the higher amplitude, P1 = 0.585073 deg.
