The size of the halo of the Milky Way Galaxy is investigated by calculating the number of radio-emitting electrons along the line of sight. The inhomogeneity of the distribution of these electrons, which apparently are responsible for the radio background, is computed by means of a cosmic-ray diffusion model describing particle motion in tangled magnetic fields. Three electron energy regions are discovered: the high-energy region, the low-energy region, and the intermediate energy region. Low-energy electrons are shown to be the major component of the halo.
