Fabrication details are listed for the flexible substrate and solar cell array subsections, including the bonding of the cells to the substrate. A vacuum device is used to position each array subsection. Adhesive is applied to the substrate with a screen printing technique. A special jig is described which is used for the interconnection of the solar panel assemblies and buffer assemblies. The jig may be used for replacing single arrays of buffers within a complete blanket.
