Magnitude estimates for 15 ZZ Ceti (white-dwarf) variable stars determined from plates in the Harvard collection reveal no evidence for variability in excess of measurement errors (about 0.15m) since the 1890s. This suggests that these DA variables are not distinguished from their nonvariable counterparts of any large-amplitude, low-frequency, or secular variations.
