The PPM (Pulse Positioning Modulation) of the BPL signal is the key problem to expanding the BPL channel as a communication channel. There are a series of conversions about the different signal formats when the information sources are transformed into the modulation levels. Several methods of the PPM are presented, and the detailed data transmission as well as the software are discussed in this paper.
