A numerical study is given of a family of orthonormal polynomialsmathfrak{F}_j^{(m)} (x), introduced in a previous communication of this series (Kopal, 1975) for the elimination of the proximity effects from observed light variations of close eclipsing systems; and tables are presented which should facilitate applications of this technique to practical cases.
