Wide field direct CCD images in UBVR, H-alpha, and in selected cases H-beta, [OIII], and/or Stromgren u, were obtained at Kitt Peak, Cerro Tololo and Mount Laguna Observatories to support and to complement the Astro-1 ultraviolet imaging data. UIT support observations in the Southern Hemisphere were carried out using CTIO's 0.9m telescope with a variety of CCDs. The CTIO 0.9m telescope is similar to the KPNO 0.9m, but it has a single f/13.5 secondary, which yields a Cassegrain focal plane scale of 16.5 arcseconds/mm. More details about the telescope can be obtained via the WWW at http:/www.ctio.noao.edu/36/0-9m.html.
