An analysis is made of abrupt increases in charge particle fluxes generated at various solar longitudes in 1972-73. It is shown that the behavior of the particle fluxes was largely determined by two interplanetary solar wind perturbations. One solar wind flux was flare-related; the other flux was not directly flare-related and was observed several hours prior to the arrival of a burst to the earth orbit. It is suggested that this solar wind flux is formed as a result of coronal eruptions of nonflare origin. The behavior of flare-generated charged particles is discussed.
