This is an FOC engineering program needed to investigate the response of the FOC/48 detector when taking DARK count exposures shortly after High Voltage turn ON. In December 1991 ( 3, 26 ) two DARK count images showed a white spot near the center of the image and a white ARC in the upper right corner. Another DARK exposure taken on March 4, 1992 with the same detector did NOT show any anomalies. SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS: In order to meet the goals of the proposal it is essential that the very first observation of the a series of Darks is scheduled - as close as possible to the HV turn ON IMPORTANT: This requires special commanding to eliminate the 75 min stabilization time after the HV Switch ON. - and that the Instrument has been in the HOLD for at least 24 Hrs for thermal equilibrium - should be scheduled as PARALLEL
