Only minor internal scatter is found in the present comparison of timings for nine Jovian eclipses of the Galilean satellites and ephemeride predictions. It therefore appears that Jovian eclipse observations yield high quality astrometry, which can be used to supplement astrometry from the mutual occultations and eclipses of the satellites that occurred over the same period. The ambiguity of mutual measurements of two satellites is precluded by these means.
