The authors firstly present results of snap-shot observations carried out at 92 cm with Global VLBI Network on the compact steep spectrum source 3C 216. To map 3C 216 with as high dynamic ranges as possible, they alternatively use AIPS and CALTECH software package. A comparison with previous results at other frequencies has been done. The authors briefly analyse the structure of the twin-jet of 3C 216.
