A gas dynamic picture is discussed for supersonic bipolar outflows observed in the interstellar medium. The major features of this picture are accelerating shock fronts and self-collimating currents which propagate in the opposite directions from the site of star formation. This dynamic structure can be produced in the process of nonlinear interaction that develops when two initial shocks collide in the interstellar gas matter.
