Many observations and calculations have been achieved concerning the dMe star YZ Canis Minoris. Making a few assumptions, such as similarity between YZ CMi flares and solar flares, we can deduce and/or confirm, via other hypothesis, informations concerning the flaring region such as its dimension and an estimation of the total energy involved in such flares. We conclude that particle beams can explain most features of YZ CMi flares.
