We have studied some characteristics of a small amplitude dust acoustic solitary wave in a two component dusty plasma consisting of ions and drifting dust grains simultaneously incorporating the ion inertial effect. We have presented analytical expressions in such a dusty plasma medium, where the numbers of free electrons are much smaller compared to that of ions. It is seen that in such a medium the dust-acoustic soliton solutions exist only if dust drift velocity is less than the ion thermal velocity, and the solitary dust-acoustic wave admits both negative and positive potentials due to the dust drift velocity. We have applied these features in Saturn's F-ring.
