Surface photometry in the V and R bands and major-axis stellar
kinematics are presented for the elliptical (E3) galaxy NGC6851. Several
peculiarities such as diskiness, isophotal twisting and strong rotation
together with hints for triaxiality are found. There is also some
evidence for the presence of a kinematically decoupled core.
