Photoelectric BVRI observations have been obtained for 36 stars suspected of being members of the Hyades cluster, mostly on the basis of the proper-motion survey by Artyukhina and Kholopov. Most of the stars are in the outer regions of the cluster and, on the basis of the photometry, only six of the 36 stars appear to be possible or probable members. This illustrates the difficulty of identifying outlying cluster members on the basis of proper-motion measures alone.
