The authors have found a previously uncataloged 13th magnitude cataclysmic variable inside the 0.7 deg2 box of the X-ray source H2215-086. The star shows strong, broad emission lines of H, He II, and He I superposed on a blue continuum. Photometry reveals large amplitude, strictly coherent variations with periods of 21 minutes and 4 hours, and a possible modulation at 23 minutes. The authors interpret the 4 hour period as the orbital period of the underlying binary, and the 21 minute period as the sidereal or synodic rotation period of a magnetized degenerate dwarf.
