The authors have detected the 2-1 - 1-1E and 20 - 10A+ and partially resolved the 21 - 11E and 20 - 10E transitions of torsionally excited methanol in Orion while simultaneously observing the same transitions in the ground state. These observations suggest that the ground-state transitions come from a 90K region, while the torsionally excited transitions may come from a 200K region.
