Relative intensities of the hydrogen lines have been calculated on the basis of the theory of luminosity in the moving envelopes for the case of collisional excitations and ionizations. The comparison of the theoretical ratios of Lα/Hα and Pα/Hβ with the observational ones for quasars and Seyfert galaxies has been made. It was shown that small ratios of Lα/Hα and their relatively small dispersion may be explained by the approaching of the state of the radiative gas to the total thermalization state.
