Doppler Imaging, Fk Comae Berenices

We present surface images of a single late-type star - FK Comae Berenices for July 1998 based on observations made at the Nordic Optical Telescope. Tikhonov regularization was used as the inversion technique to map the stellar surface temperature. Also presented are the surface images of FK Com during the same period produced by inversion of photometric data. We study the effect of the changes in orbital inclination and rotational velocity parameters on the stellar surface temperature distribution maps. The results are also compared to the spot distribution and behaviour on the surface of FK Com to those in the Sun and RS CVn stars IM Peg and II Peg.
