The hypothesis about the formation of clouds in the envelopes of type 1 and 2 Seyfert galaxies as the result of the development of thermal instability behind a shock wave formed as a result of an explosion in the nucleus is considered. The physical processes determining the evolution and dynamics of condensations formed as a result of the development of thermal instability in the envelope of the nucleus are considered.
