In the construction of models of galaxies, self-consistent solutions are obtained for the kinetic equation in the gravitational self-field. The solutions depend on the energy and angular momentum integrals of the motion. For the sphere and disk, one-parameter families of exact solutions are constructed in the cases when the gravitational potential psi(r) satisfies the following two conditions: psi(r) is a monotonic function and the function r(psi), the inverse of psi(r), is known. The parameter of the solution characterizes the anisotropy of the distribution function in the momentum space. The range of values of this parameter corresponding to positive-definite distribution functions is determined.
