A computation is performed of the small scale fluctuations in the microwave background radiation due to adiabatic perturbations. For most spectra we find fluctuations below observational limits. The amplitude of fluctuations, in the cases we consider, depends on the spectrum of initial perturbations. This differs from what previous authors found for a number of other spectra. We discuss the origin of this difference.
