In the Letter "Escaping Radio Emission from Pulsars: Possible Role of Velocity Shear" by Swadesh M. Mahajan, George Z. Machabeli, and Andria D. Rogava (ApJ, 479, L129 [1997]), Figures 1 and 2 have been interchanged: Figures 1a--1d are in fact Figures 2a--2d, and vice versa. The legends for Figures 1 and 2 are correct and appear below the place at which the appropriate figure should have appeared. The Press apologizes for this error.
