Different methods of correction for the phase effect using Mercury observations carried out with the Tashkent transit circle during 1981-1986 are analyzed. The equation for calculating the corrections using the method proposed by Gorel (1977) is derived. A comparison is made between the right ascensions of Mercury with the ephemeris with and without allowance for different forms of phase corrections.
